Odissi Performance: Benefit Event at Honen-in Temple, Kyoto

After the earthquake and tsunami in the Tohoku area in 2011,  the Honen-in Sanga organizes the 16th charity event to support affected families and reconstruction work.

This November the Kyoto Indian Arts Sangam is again invited to distribute Odissi Dance (by Kamala Klebanova) and Indian Music (by Bayan san and Yuji san ) to the event. 

This time, Kamala presents a traditional Odissi choreography in an abstract/ pure dance form (called Pallavi) and a new Mokshya choreography from the reputed Guru Sangeeta Dash (recipient of Sangeeta Natak Academy Award).
