Gudrun Märtins ワークショップ Workshop 開催！
オディッシーは東インドのオリッサ州に由来する古典舞踊です。その型や衣裳は、古代インドの寺院に彫られた、優雅な彫像を思い起こさせます。その動きは、なめらかで優雅であると同時に、しっかりとした力強さもあります。上半身は異なる姿勢から姿勢へと、流れるように動くのに対し、曲げた脚はドラムのリズムを示します。足のステップによってリズミカルな音が沸き起こります。顔や手の動きは、2000年も前の叙事詩の物語を伝えています。

This Workshop is explicitly for beginners and Odissi students with basic knowledge. You will learn about the first steps of a Choreography in the classical dance style of the east coast of India, called Odissi. In future there will be following workshops to continue on further steps of the choreography.
In this blog entry you will find some background information about the choreographical structure and the "myths between the lines" in Guru Debaprasad Das' Odissi choreography of the Dashaavatara (the ten incarnations of Vishnu).
In the 8th year after the earthquake and tsunami in the Tohoku area the Honen-in Sanga organizes twice a year this charity event to support affected families and reconstruction work.
In between other dance performances from different cultures, Kamala performed an Odissi program of a classical repertoire (see: 5 different types of items) without any entrance fees! Good for everyone who wanted to know more about Odissi in a casual and sunny atmosphere : )
